How much does Kassalo cost?
Start €47, Pro €74, and Chain €99 per till per month, excluding VAT. All five ERP integrations are included.
Is there a contract or setup fee?
No. No lock-in, no setup fee. Cancel at the end of any month.
How does the trial work?
You get a fully functional POS system for 14 days — no card details required. When the trial ends, simply choose a plan or let it lapse. No commitment.
Why isn't a payment terminal included?
Card processing fees are the biggest cost for most retailers, and we don't want to tie you to a single acquirer. An integrated terminal via Nexi is coming as an add-on (Q4 2026). Until then, simply use your existing terminal.
Technical & Operations
What hardware is compatible?
Windows PCs, Macs, iPads, and Android tablets with a modern browser. Barcode scanners with keyboard emulation work straight out of the box. The POS system is optimised for 15″ screens at 1024×768.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. Sales are saved locally and synced automatically once the connection is restored. Your journal and receipt numbering remain accurate throughout.
Where is my data stored?
On servers within the EU, operated by JITS ApS. We sign a data processing agreement with every customer.
Can I print receipts?
Yes — via the browser's print function to a receipt printer. Receipts can also be emailed with a barcode.
Do you support gift cards, loyalty schemes, and a workshop module?
Yes. A customer database with loyalty points, gift cards, store credit, discounts and promotions, plus a workshop module with unlimited jobs, are all included in every plan.
Accounting & Compliance
Which ERP systems do you support?
e-conomic, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Admind, Uniconta, and Dinero. Kassalo can also run perfectly well without an ERP.
Do you post per transaction or per day?
Your choice. The default is per transaction, as it gives you the clearest audit trail.
Do you comply with the digital sales registration requirements?
The journal, sequential numbering, and SAF-T export are all in place. In Denmark, since 2024, retailers are required to use approved digital sales registration. The certified OCES3 signature and ISAE 3000 declaration are expected in Q1 2027. Read the full compliance status.
